Supporting the local communities

On Friday April 5th, Lamborghini Newport Beach donated a weekend in a Gallardo Spyder to help raise funds at the Neptune's Ball, a CdM Foundation event.

The Neptune's Ball auction and dinner event is taking place every other year in order to raise fund for the Corona Del Mar High School, one of the top ranked school in the nation.

The 400+ attendees started gathering at 5.30pm at the Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach where they were able to enjoy drinks and appetizers while bidding on the many silent auction items displayed in the courtyard. At the center of it, a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder which will later be part of the live auction.

Around 8.00pm the guests were invited to take a seat in the ballroom to enjoy a delicious dinner and participate in the live auction. A wide variety of items were now on the block to raise money for the CdM Foundation, ranging from a reserved parking spot for this year's Graduation to a 3-day weekend at the Pelican Hill Resort.

The auctioneer opened the live auction with a $50 bill. Starting at $1, it ended up reaching $1,100!
Closing the night was the item donated by Lamborghini Newport Beach: a weekend in a Gallardo Spyder! After an epic bidding war the Gallardo raised $6,500 for the CdM Foundation.

The live auction raised over $100,000 which should be matched by the silent auction items for a total of $200,000+.

We want to thank the CdM Foundation for including Lamborghini Newport Beach in their fundraising event and we are looking forward to extend our support to the Corona Del Mar community for future events.
